Day 1: Ha Giang City - Bac Sum pass - Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Nam Dam Village - Lung Tam Handicraft Village - Yen Minh (B, L, D)
8.30 am: The tour starts at our homestay or Ha Giang Jeep team will pick you up at the hotel or any meeting points in Ha Giang city.
On the first day, you will see a big change in the scenery when Open Air Jeep into the mountain roads. We will stop at Bac Sum Slope to enjoy the view and have drinks before arriving in the town of Quan Ba.
We continue to ride to Viewpoint to see the Quan Ba Heaven Gate & Twin Mountains, then we visit a clay house village of Nam Dam, 100% of the Dao ethnic minority live in this village. In Nam Dam, you will learn about the local culture and the architecture of their house built of clay, we will spend around 2.5 hours in this village and you have to walk around the village. You will get to enjoy some local food in Quan Ba.
After lunch, we will continue riding up and down to see the amazing valley and villages. We will see the overview of the spectacular mountain, which is an amazing view as you don't do this trip you will have a unique way to see it when you join with our Ha Giang Loop Jeep Tour.
We keep going down to the Lung Tam village, where our team take you to visit a family who make handicraft and weaving the clothes, then we continue to drive to Yen Minh where we stay overnight. On the way to Yen Minh, we drive past many back roads as tourists do themselves, they don't know the roads, so we can see the most spectacular landscape and some secret villages. We will stop over at the loop top road, where we see over view of the valley, and then we arrive at Yen Minh Town and stay at a homestay.
Day 2: Yen Minh - Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Palace - Lung Cu Flag Pole - Dong Van town (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we start our excursion again today, our riders will drive to Tham Ma Slope with 9 steps road for an hour, where we will stop for amazing pictures. After that, we continued riding Jeep up to visit Sung La village which over hundreds of years the landowner. You will learn a lot of history and stories about the area, then we will visit an important place - Lung Cu Flag Pole, where you see the border area between Vietnam and China territory. The views are splendid and huge from the flag pole or observing point for looking out. Then we will visit Lo Lo Chai village where a small group of Lo Lo ethnic minorities. Their traditional house was created by clay... and we will have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we drive to Dong Van Town, you will make a stop at the residence of the Vuong family, which is still called “H’mong King Palace”. Then we will come to homestay and have dinner in Dong Van Town.
Day 3: Dong Van Town - Volunteer Youth monument - Ma Pi Leng Pass – See an overview of Nho Que River - Meo Vac – Du Gia village (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town, our Open Air Jeep will take you to see the most beautiful part of the whole journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting the towns of Dong Van and Meo Vac, Ma Pi Leng Pass. The legendary pass is well known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views. It is the most ragged pass in the north, often referred to as the “king” of the passes in Vietnam! The whole road is winding through the cliffs and overcomes Ma Pi Leng pass at an altitude of 2,000 meters.
To show you the full beauty of the pass, we will Ride down the breathtaking Sky Path to admire the scenery of the whole valley and Nho Que River. Then ride to see the panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass and take unforgettable pictures. Standing on the peak of the pass, you will feel overwhelmed by the majestic space of mountains and rivers.
We will continue our journey to more distant villages. From there, you will know how people live in remote parts of Vietnam. We will drive through the villages Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, where we will have a pit stop for lunch and drink. From Meo Vac Town we will continue through the the mountainous trail road area of Ha Giang province to Du Gia Village with an amazing landscape and famous village there are 7 ethnic minorities living in the same village, and you will see the colorful village and a lot of cultures, where we will spend over at homestay with Tay Minority Family, and enjoy dinner and "happy water" with family.
Day 4: Du Gia village – Du Gia Waterfall – Duong Thuong Valley – Thai An road - Bac Me - Ha Giang city – Ha Noi (B, L)
